Welcome

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about Green River Bible Baptist Church.  GRBBC was established in 1974. Our passion is that our Church will do God’s work in God’s way for God’s glory.  We are committed to making and maturing disciples of Jesus Christ.  We are a Word-centered fellowship that focuses on people rather than on programs with a commitment to the priorities of worship, instruction, fellowship, and evangelism.  By exalting the name of our Great God and using means that give the right opinion of Him, we believe that we will see His power on fresh display in all of our services.

We desire to be a community of faith that is marked by God’s grace.  Grace is divine provision that God offers to all in such a way that they cannot, and therefore should not, take the credit.  It is absolutely necessary for salvation (Rom 5:5, Eph 2:8-9), sanctification (Philippians 2:13), service (1 Cor 3:10), and for sacrificial giving (2 Cor 8:1-5).  As we have received the Grace of God, we desire to be a caring community of faith that extends that grace to a hurting world that is all around us (2 Cor 5:17-6:1).  We want to share the amazing grace of our God with Green River area, and to spread it around the world through our missionary family.

Our motto is "Reach. Build. Exalt."  We desire to Reach our community, Build up Disciples for Christ, and Exalt our Savior. We would love to have you come and experience the Grace of God with us as we anticipate His working in our lives each week as we worship and serve together.
